The Choate game will not be played Wed 9/30 as scheduled. We will have practice (5-7pm) instead. We will try to reschedule this game for later in the season.
Swim on Tues/Thurs afternoons

We have an opportunity to have our players swim on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons with Girls JV practice – this is swimming to stay in shape and develop swimming skills. 2:30 thru 3:30pm
10/3 Game Added to Schedule

We will be playing Knight Water Polo (Queens, NY) on Saturday 10/3 at 4pm – this is the same time slot as our regularly scheduled Saturday practice time.

The Hopkins Game has been rescheduled to Friday 9/25 @4:15pm. Bus will depart at 2:30 from the pool (after the Pep Rally).
Information/Directions to Games

Our first Away game is in Greenwich on Wednesday. If you would like to get directions to, or a map of, the location, that information is available on the website. Click on the “Game/School name” in the Calendar or in the Upcoming Events column (on the right). That will open a box with all the details of the game: time, place, bus time, etc. When you click on the word “map” you will be directed to GoogleMaps, and the address will already be entered. Go ahead and find a map of the location, get directions, and print what you need. Last year there was some representation of parents at most away games!
SHS Pool / Chlorine Update

I received the following update from Athletic Director Marty Lisevik regarding the SHS pool:
Just to give everyone an update on the chlorine problem with our pool. Last Tuesday we were alerted to high levels of chlorine in the pool. Maintenance was contacted and did a test (3.0 and lower is an acceptable level set by the Board of Health) – the level that afternoon was 3.0 so that night the custodians put neutralizers into the pool to bring the chlorine level down.
This was successful for a couple of days (the chlorine level gets tested every night by our custodial staff) however last night it was up around 3.0 again. As a result of this, I had maintenance shut down the chlorinator this morning – as it appears it was just running constantly and not regulating the level of chlorine. We have Brock industries scheduled to come in today to fix the problem.
I will keep you updated as to our progress.

Practice Wed 9/9 is ~5pm til 7pm. Being that this is Back to School Night (which starts at 7pm), those players whose parents need to pick them up early may do so. Or, perhaps other arrangements might be made for rides home.
